Musculoskeletal Research Laboratories

The MRL supports the participation of undergraduates in laboratory research through the University Research Opportunties Program, the ACCESS Program and via grant funding as available. We also supervise students working on their senior projects for their degree in Biomedical Engineering. Specific opportunities for undergraduates are advertised through the Bioengineering Department email lists and in the Bioengineering Department classes as they become available.

The MRL has a long history of training graduate students at both the MS and PhD levels. Our graduate students have gone on to successful careers in both academia and industry. The majority of graduate students are supported via Research Assistantships on federally funded research grants. Some students are supported on departmental, college and foundation fellowships.
